August has been a lovely relaxed month full of creative workshops where I've been helping and watching peoples skills grow and their confidence build.
I've been working on developing my new range and I'm so excited as I'm nearly there!

I've been teaching Charlotte (age 15) each week for the past 8 weeks during her summer holidays, the aim in our time together was for me to help her expand her skill set in ceramics and broaden her knowledge.
We started with a few building techniques before Charlotte came up with the idea that she'd like to create some 3D characters based on drawings she had done.
Each week I could see her skills developing and I could see how much she'd learnt as the weeks went by! #proudteacher
She enjoyed herself that much she attended an extra 2 weeks!
Anything you can imagine I can help you create at my workshop, the answer was and always will be yes! I can help you create that! and yes its possible!

I did the second of my talks to a Rotary club this August, I visited Leicester Rotary club and gave a talk to their members at The Mercure Grand Hotel.
They invited me to come talk to them after hearing about me being a finalist for the Stelios awards for disabled entrepreneurs 2017 in an article in the Leicester Mercury newspaper.
In the talk I shown photos of my work and told the lovely members my back story of how I got into ceramics, all about the Stelios awards and what I'm doing now.
I really enjoyed the talk, everyone was very welcoming and I met some lovely people, I even had a fab write up from Anna Geary on LinkedIn, have a read here!
I set up for my upcoming exhibition running throughout September 2018, in Market Harborough town centre.
I'm taking part in Art Windows Exhibition with the Harborough Artists Cluster.
