Being one of the winners of the 'Stelios Awards for Disabled Entrepeneurs 2017' has brought me so much joy, unbelievable publicity which I am so grateful for and a fair few orders of my ceramics as well as this Fab commission!
I was commissioned to create 5 sets of bespoke coasters in a stunning luxurious bronze gold glaze. I was told that the idea of the coasters was to set them out around the table this Christmas and at the end each guest gets to take home their own unique coaster as a momento and a Christmas gift ...what a lovely idea!
Its been a busy few months in the run up to Christmas and this commission was in a rush against time to create from start to finish in order to get the coasters perfect and ready to ship them to France in time for Christmas!
It's been rather chilly at the moment so when the kiln started heating up its was lovely and toasty!
Here's the finished result and wow I'm so happy with them, the fabulous gold glaze came out lustrous and I fell in love with them.
There was even a few left over.
(I always make extra on a commission just in case ...you never know if the
