So blog #3 is here, as I mentioned each and every month brings new tasks and challenges, life changes every day.
It would make life a little easier knowing what was coming my way each week as with other jobs but it definitely keeps me on my toes! Plus, it means I never get bored,
I love my job!
Wow May has been a busy month!
The weekend of 12th & 13th I held an open studio weekend, I did this as I'm part of The Harborough Artists Cluster, a group of artists in and around the Harborough area, this is the second open studio I've done with the group.
I always love doing open studios, I get to meet lots of lovely enthusiastic inquisitive people, the atmosphere is buzzing. My open studios give people a chance to have a look into my ceramics studio, see where I work and get a bit more of an insight into my practise.
It's been workshops galore this month with courses, personalised one to ones, family day and family sessions, I've barely had time to create much but passing on my knowledge is so rewarding, I always come away with a big smile on my face.
Amongst the busyness I did have an afternoon of creativeness where I designed and created a house plaque, I had nothing more than a vague doodle and came up with this. What do you think?
