New unique ceramics #5 August 2018

I love making! The testing and experimenting and trying new things always keeps my interest peaked, I never know what I'm going to purposely (or accidentally) create and I love the element of surprise in my work!

I have been carrying on with lasts months experiments with plaster moulds. I've had so many new ideas on how I want to tweak, my ideas are still under lock and key.

Keep posted!

During July I really started to get addicted to glaze experimenting all over again, it's one of my favourite areas in ceramics, I still find it fascinating that I'm playing with all those complicated things you learnt in school on the periodic table!

Take a look in my glaze kiln, all loaded and ready to start firing up!

Right now they don't look special but when they come out of firing ....

The once powdery glaze transforms!

This is my new favourite glaze combination! What do you think?
