Glazed Pieces

Glazed pieces before they go in the kiln are not pretty! They are often lumpy, crumbly, and more often than not white, mostly a dirty grey colour actually! That is part of the magic  things go in looking boring or even broken looking, but when the kiln lid opens I’m always blown away by what I find! The vibrant glossy colours transformed from fire! Bright, glossy, crackled, Matt, drippy, the vast array is mind boggling, and I love it!
