Creative Couples Together

I finally managed to get my fiancé Ant down the studio, after years  We’re both creatives and relish really planning our designs and giving our all to our creative endeavors, this is our first clay creation together and we’re really proud!  We’ve created a house plaque for our future home, designed and made from scratch together. We started collating ideas, then turned out ideas into a sketch, discussing ideas and how we’d like it to look. Together we took it in turns completing various stages of the design, occasionally working on it simultaneously if we could reach and see upside down! It took us about 6 hours to complete together, with plenty of tea breaks and talking between!  

This is freshly made in wet clay, its first stage complete! It’s now been dried and had its bisque firing turning it from clay to ceramic. We’re now thinking how we’d like to add colour and glaze to complete it. Keep your eyes out for our future finished plaque!
